Alex and Bridgette’s Anniversary Session at Villa D’Este in Lake Como

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Alex and Bridgette for three years now. First at their engagement session in Santa Ynez and Sunstone Winery, then at their wedding in Rancho Santa Fe and now for their two year wedding anniversary in Como at Villa D’Este. I immediately fell in love with Como’s blue shores and green mountains dotted with the cutest little towns. With fresh wood-fire pizza and Aperol Spritz’s everyday I could definitely see why Lake Como has captured the heart of so many! Dreaming of going back to shoot a wedding there someday soon!

M and J’s Engagement Session in the Norwegian Fjords

M & J are getting married next Spring at Pippin Hill in Virginia, but are currently living overseas in Norway so when I mentioned I would be in Europe photographing some weddings this summer we came up with the idea of doing an epic engagement session in the Norwegian Fjords. I feel so lucky to have such amazing clients I also now get to call friends! We spent the week hiking and exploring near Fläm, oh and we took a few pictures too!

Claire and Adam’s Engagement Session at Kestrel Park and Gainey Vineyard

Is there anything better than getting to photograph your best friend’s engagement session?! Claire and I have been friends since middle school and I can not wait to photograph her Claire and Adam chose to do their engagement session in Santa Ynez– one of their favorite weekend getaways from Los Angeles. They share a love of wine, so Gainey’s scenic vineyards made the perfect backdrop for the first location. The stunning grounds of Kestrel Park made for the perfect second location, as they’re reminiscent of the chateau in France the couple will be saying their “I Dos” at next summer.
