Dina and Dustin’s Chic City Wedding at 501 Union, Brooklyn Fine Art Wedding Photography

Dina and Dustin were married on a beautiful Fall day at Brooklyn’s
501 Union. The bride and groom were surrounded by their friends and
family, and their adorable fur-baby, Mochi, who walked down the aisle
with the groom. The couple began their morning getting ready at the Ritz
Carlton in Battery Park City where they did a romantic first look in a
garden just the two of them before heading over to Jane’s Carousel in
DUMBO for portraits. The couple had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony
in private with their parents and the bride’s grandmother, followed by
the ceremony officiated by a friend set against a backdrop installation
of green, white and gold foliage and roses created by Ahn Designs. After
the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers at the bar before a
family style dinner at long banquet tables in the dining room followed

Angela and Young’s Wedding at the Wythe Hotel, New York City Fine Art Wedding Photography

Angela and Young were married on a beautiful Fall day in Williamsburg at the Wythe Hotel. The bride and groom both got ready with their friends and family at the hotel and then met downstairs for a very sweet first look followed by portraits around the hotel in Williamsburg. The day was extremely windy, which made for some fun photos with the bride’s beautiful ruffled Hayley Paige dress. The ceremony took place in the hotel’s courtyard under strings of twinkle lights followed by cocktail hour in the lower terrace. The groom, a fitness and nutrition coach, personalized their ceremony and surprised the guests when he had the officiant ask everyone to take a moment to stretch during the ceremony, which was a favorite moment, and one of my favorite photos of the day! After the ceremony the bride and groom went up to their suite to sign the marriage license and took a quick celebratory moment to jump on the bed, another of my favorite moments of the day! The reception took place inside the hotel and the room was transformed by Blush Designs into a lush and romantic fairy-tale space full of deep red tones with gold accents and hundreds of candles, perfect for an evening of dinner and dancing. Marina and Adrian’s New York City Wedding at David Burke Garden, New York City Fine Art Wedding Photography

Marina and Adrian are my favorite kind of couple who don’t let a little thing like rain get in the way of their wedding day. Their summer wedding took place at the rooftop garden of one of my favorite restaurants, David Burke Kitchen. The rain managed to hold off for their portraits, which we took on the Highline and around the West Village and then started to drizzle right before the reception. The staff sprung into action and moved the whole ceremony set up to under a covered part of the deck and all their friends and family crowded in for one of my favorite ceremonies ever that was brimming with energy and excitement as everyone squished in close. Not everything will go the way you want on the wedding day, but a good attitude and awesome friends and family turn a bad situation into a spectacular one! There’s a second level deck and one of my favorite photos from the day is a wide shot down on everyone huddled together watching the very sweet ceremony, officiated by the bride’s brother. The reception was moved downstairs into the restaurant, which is striking with beautiful wood beams and large portraits from the farms where all of the amazing food is sourced. The food itself was also stunning and a definite highlight of the night. Having good food was very important to the bride and groom and they even stopped off at Melt on the Highline for a ice cream cookie sandwich during portraits! Love a bride whose not worried about getting a little ice cream on her dress!! (Although luckily she didn’t). The bride and groom danced the night away to an amazing live band- joined a couple times by their adorable flower girl on the drums- finishing the evening with beautiful traditional Armenian dancing.
