After months of sundresses and shorts it was such fun to shoot my first fall session complete with an adorable fall outfit! I shot this little one’s 1st year portraits around Central Park on a beautiful brisk Fall morning. We photographed all around the 70’s at the Mall, Bethesda Fountain and the grassy areas near Bow Bridge. Such fun and I love this little one’s smiles!
Rafal’s beautiful proposal seemed straight out of a movie! This cute couple were visiting from Poland and on a quiet rainy day in Central Park under the gorgeous mosaic ceiling of Bethesda Terrace he knelt on bended knee and proposed next to a picnic of sparkling cider and chocolate covered strawberries while a guitar player strummed their song in the background. It was a magical moment and all orchestrated by the talented Heart Bandits! Always so much fun to capture these real life proposals with them!
Jana reached out to me from South Africa to do a photo shoot in NYC while she and her husband were visiting. They picked the hottest week of the entire year, but we still had a blast walking all over the city from Brooklyn to Central Park. I love planning out these fun sessions for out of towners to explore NY and get in some local NY neighborhoods as well as the popular tourist spots. To cool off from the heat I brought them to my fav DUMBO summer spot Jacques Torres for some ice cream sandwiches!
