Sam and Matt’s City Wedding at the Bowery Hotel and Lafayette Restaurant, New York City Fine Art Wedding Photography

Sam and Matt’s intimate city wedding was the perfect representation of everything I love about New York City! Sam and Matt met at my alma mater, NYU, and wanted their wedding to take place in the beautiful place where they fell in love. NYU doesn’t really have much of a campus, instead the whole neighborhood of Greenwich Village is really where the heart of the school lies, centering around Washington Square Park. Sam and Matt started their day by getting ready at the beautiful Bowery Hotel followed by family portraits in Central Park and then a lovely intimate ceremony in the wine cellar of Lafeyette Restaurant surrounded by their closest friends and family. Sam has impeccable taste and I was so in love with all of the special touches she brought to her day, like her black diamond Anna Sheffield ring, gorgeous invitation suite by Antiquaria and that stunning Nicole Miller gown! Her friends have a tradition of gifting each other something to include in the bouquet and they gave her vintage subway tokens that were wrapped in the ribbons- doesn’t get much cuter or classic NYC than that!
