Janice and Jae’s Romantic New York Wedding, Destination Fine Art Wedding Photography

I love when I get to do an engagement session with my couples and really get to know them before their wedding day.  Janice and Jae did their engagement session during peak cherry blossom season and I had so much fun spending the morning with them in Central Park in the blooms (check it out here) and was so happy to see them again this August to photograph their wedding.  The day was simply beautiful and we photographed their wedding portraits at a beautiful park out on Long Island that has gorgeous Tuscan inspired architecture and gardens.  I love when couples bring kids into their wedding day and this flower girl and ring bearer were so adorable they definitely stole the show during portraits.  I also love when couples bring family traditions into the wedding day and I was completely enamored with the beautiful outfits the bride and groom’s mothers and grandmothers wore.  It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of summer and welcome in Fall.
