Derek and Jackie’s Black Tie Spring Wedding at the Foundry, Long Island City, New York Fine Art Wedding Photography

Jackie and Derek were married on March 21, 2015 just blocks from their home in Long Island City. The bride got ready in their apartment right on the water at Gantry State Park with her bridesmaids and recently adopted Cockapoo puppy. The bride and groom decided on a first look on the water at Gantry, a favorite spot of theirs with the beautiful skyline of midtown Manhattan behind them.  They were married by a friend of the couple under the warm glow of crisscrossing strung lights at the Foundry surrounded by Cherry Blossoms to celebrate Spring. Guests enjoyed the groom’s favorite cocktail, an Old Fashioned and hors d’ouerves including mini grilled cheeses and dumplings while the sunset during cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing.   See more from their wedding on Brides.com.
