A Summer Wedding at the Wake Robin Inn, Connecticut Fine Art Wedding Photography

There are some couples who come along and right away I know it’s going to be a very special wedding. From the moment I met this gorgeous and super sweet bride and groom I knew it was going to be a delight to photograph their wedding and it truly was! The ceremony took place at the beautiful Saint Mary’s Church in Lakeville, CT followed by a tented reception at the Wake Robin Inn. During the ceremony the skies opened up and poured down on us while we were inside the Church, but magically it cleared up for a couple hours long enough for some portraits at a nearby lake before heading in to the tent to dance the night away. The day was so full of love and joy, which made it so fun to photograph! Every photo was full of so much emotion, from the first time the bride saw her dad to the groom’s first look at his bride walking down the aisle- many a tear was shed! The day was personalized with some super sweet details like the note cards the groom gave his bride to open every hour on the wedding day till they saw each other and the vintage ring the bride had tied onto her bouquet. The whole day was just overflowing with beauty! Apogee catering put together some of the most gorgeous plates of passed hors d’ouerves I’ve ever seen and Fourteen-Forty designed an incredible invitation suite that set the tone for the elegant, but fun weekend! ETA Music was just incredible and the band kept the guests dancing all night long!
