Where to go?
We spent most of our time exploring the Grand Tetons on our own and with a great guide from Alpen Tours. We took a canoe out on Jenny Lake, which was a ton of fun and hiked up to Inspiration Point. Alpen Tours took us on a sunrise tour to do a loop of the park and get all the best views of the mountains.
Where to stay?
There are two areas to stay there- the town of Jackson or Teton Village. Teton Village is where all the fancy ski resorts are, but not much else so we stayed at The Lodge at Jackson Hole in town. If you’re looking for luxury the Four Seasons or Amangani wins out in Teton Village, but if you want to be able to easily explore town the Lodge was great.
What to eat?
Westbank Grille at the Four Seasons and order the sides and the cowboy cookie- it’s amazing! Trio an American Bistro in downtown Jackson and order the S’Mores dessert, they’re famous for it and it’s beyond words delicious. Cafe Genevieve was a favorite lunch spot of ours in town and has a nice outdoor patio.
Not to miss?
