Kelsey and Noah’s Spring wedding in the Brooklyn Botanical gardens was a true celebration of Spring and love.  After a terrible winter in New York City we felt Spring would never come, but on the day of Kelsey and Noah’s wedding the skies cleared, the sun shined on the just bloomed cherry blossoms and we were given a perfect Spring day. It was so wonderful to capture genuine moments of love and joy between Kelsey and Noah. I knew they would be so much fun to photograph when we first met and she told me- “We both love the color green, spicy food, and, of course, each other.” Kelsey even had inscribed in Noah’s ring “I love you most” one of my favorite details of the day!  See more of this wedding featured on Style Me Pretty!

In college I had the wonderful opportunity to work in Richard Avedon’s archive. During my time there I worked cataloging and scanning negatives from a 1970’s fashion editorial for Vogue featuring Lauren Hutton all over the streets of Paris.  The photographs were all so classic and gorgeous and just screamed Paris.  Since then I have been dreaming of shooting something just as lovely in the streets of the city of love.  I was thrilled to work together with Vanessa et Caroline, wonderful Parisian wedding planners to create this gorgeous Parisian elopement inspiration for this super sweet real couple- engagement photos in a wedding dress?  A total do!  I love destination wedding photography and there’s no greater venue than the city of Paris itself!  We began the day in the early morning at the Trocadero with the iconic Eiffel tower setting the scene.  Next we headed to a favorite place of mine in Paris- Angelina Tea Room on Rue de Rivoli.  Angelina’s was a favorite of Coco Chanel who lived next door at Le Meurice and they are famous for their decadent pastries and hot chocolate.  They created a stunning masterpiece of a croquembouche, a classic French dessert and a beautiful alternative to a traditional wedding cake.  We finished the day by walking the romantic streets of Montmartre filled with beautiful old buildings and cobblestones perfect for a romantic stroll.  For more photographs check out the feature on Style Me Pretty!

One of my absolute favorite things to photograph is people in love so it is so fun when I get to shoot love sessions with couples visiting New York City!  These two came all the way from Russia and we spent a lovely summer morning exploring the whole city from DUMBO, to the Brooklyn Bridge, the streets of the Meatpacking District and then a final stop in Central Park to enjoy the sunshine!
