As a follow up to the smashing success that was the 2010 Gallatin Eco-Fashion Week we wanted to continue to explore different areas of self-expression in fashion. Embracing the spirit of Gallatin and the unique microcosm we inhabit in the Village we chose to explore gender identity and gender roles in fashion. With these parameters in mind, a diverse committee comprised of students, alumni, faculty, and administrators organized what has become known as Sexposed: Gallatin Fashion Week 2012. The committee put together a line-up of events engaging the community in an exciting and unique conversation that uncovers the [re]interpretations of fashion and gender as imagined by members of our community.
I was honored to be involved again as an alumni and photograph the 2012 Look Book. The fashions were stunning and creative and it was so fun to work on! Below I’ll share some of my favorite pictures from the look book, but for the complete set check them all out here on flickr!
