One of my favorite things I miss most about Los Angeles when I am in New York is the weather. When I left New York in February we were in the middle of one of the worst winters ever on record and there was a thick layer of snow on the ground that had been there since the beginning of January. Arriving in Los Angeles was a literal breath of fresh air with warm sunny days in the 60’s and 70’s. To take advantage of the weather I decided to head to the beach to play with my new point and shoot lumix and enjoy the rays in Santa Monica and Malibu. While sitting at Casa del Mar and watching the beach goers frolic below or eating on the deck at Geoffrey’s in Malibu watching pelicans fly above it is hard to remember why I left the city. Then I spent 2 hours stuck in traffic on the PCH and remembered why.
