Rhinos are one of the hardest animals to spot in East Africa. The black rhinoceros is considered critically endangered and has been hunted almost into oblivion by poachers. In the 1960’s the population of black rhinos dropped from an estimated 70,000 to below 2,000. They are now a protected species and are slowly recovering but these animals still need our help.
